I think this is a beautiful spin off her lines, and I love how you took the and spun them into something new instead of what most others have done. Very original, in my views. The shading and color and hair are all done wonderfully, and even the clouds look very fluffy! The only thing that I noticed that seemed a bit off was the top of the muzzle, which looks like it needs to be a touch shorter/closer to the eyes an perhaps a bit more rounded. Other than that though, this is an amazing picture. I specifically love that sun.

Personally I believe this piece is exceptional. The shading and angles are perfect and the picture in and of itself gives off a sweet feeling. I give you 5 stars on everything. Just looking at artwork such as this gives me great joy. I mean you're simply amazing. Also, as a fellow pony lover, derpy has never looked quite so beautiful. You're an exceptional artist and you should keep working. I hope you do because I'm definitely going to follow you after having seen this drawing. It's just so amazing that it's hard to explain. Keep it up and great work. ^ 3 ^

The shading and coloring is wonderful, but I feel like I'm the only one bothered by how masculine the lower jaw is.

Usually the jaws and snouts are more petite. Although I tend to oversize the snout in general but this seemed to stand out to me. Just my 2 cents, awesome work c:
